Getting to Gozo from Malta
Car and passenger ferry
Gozo Channel Ferry departs from Cirkewwa in the north of Malta and runs every 30-45 minutes. The crossing time is about half an hour. There's no need to buy a ticket in Malta, you pay for the round trip ticket when leaving Gozo. The ferries can get quite busy for cars on weekends and public holidays.
Passenger only ferry
There is a passenger only fast ferry that departs from Valletta and goes directly to Gozo. This ferry takes about 45 minutes. You can check the schedule and book tickets here via the Gozo Fast Ferry website or you can purchase your tickets at the terminal in Valletta or Gozo before departure.
HOW TO GET TO THE MGARR FERRY TERMINAL
When you exit the Gozo Channel Ferry Terminal, please turn to your right and meet us at the Three Graces Statue in the traffic circle immediately to your right. If you are coming by the Gozo Fast Ferry from Valletta then the traffic circle will be directly in front of you as you exit.
By Car
Parking at the Mgarr Marina can be tricky because daily commuters to Malta use this area for parking. So we suggest arriving early as you may take some time to find a spot. If coming from Malta, you may be better off leaving your car at the Cirkewwa Ferry Terminal.
On Foot
Our meeting point is outside of the Gozo Ferry Terminal at the Three Graces Statue in the traffic circle.
Public Transport
Buses 301, 303, 322 and 323 all stop at the Gozo Ferry terminal, as well as the Hop-on Hop-off bus.
